US stocks slipped from record highs as the Strait of Hormuz remained shut, lifting oil prices, with traders also eyeing major megacap tech earnings and central bank decisions this week.
S&P 500 futures fell. Brent crude rose to above $108 a barrel. Tehran signaled it would accept an interim agreement to reopen the waterway after nearly two months in exchange for the US lifting its blockade of Iranian ports, Axios reported Monday.
